The Director General of the Immigration and Citizenship Agency (ICA), Mustafa Sheik Ali Duhulow, held a productive meeting with a delegation from the Government of Norway, led by Mr. Knut Holm, Head of International Migration Relations.
The Director General warmly welcomed the delegation and expressed his gratitude for Norway’s continued support. The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation and relations between the two countries. The Director General specifically shared plans for establishing a Training Institute within ICA, which will enhance the knowledge and expertise of the agency’s staff.
Mr. Knut Holm, Head of International Migration Relations, thanked the Director General for the warm reception and acknowledged the Director General’s request. He assured that the Government of Norway would continue its support to enhance the recognition of Somali passports and contribute to the implementation of development plans for the Immigration and Citizenship Agency.
The meeting reaffirmed the shared commitment to fostering closer cooperation between ICA and Norway to improve immigration services and further the development of Somalia’s immigration systems.
